The final quarter of 2023 has been an eventful period for Match 3 games on the iOS platform in Australia. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a clear view of how five leading games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Candy Crush Saga by King saw its revenue fluctuate, starting the quarter at approximately $254K and peaking at nearly $290K in mid-October. The game closed the quarter with a strong $287K. Downloads dipped to a low of around 4K in late October but surged to nearly 10K by the year's end. Weekly active users showed a slight downward trend from around 98K to 94K, before rebounding to 98K in the final week.

Dream Games' Royal Match experienced a revenue range between $220K and $286K, ending the quarter on a high note. Downloads saw a significant increase from around 12K to 17K. The weekly active users reflected a positive trajectory, starting at around 129K and growing to over 160K by the end of December.

Playrix's Gardenscapes had its revenue hovering between $119K and $159K, with the quarter ending at approximately $153K. The game's downloads saw a decline in early October, dropping to around 2K, but recovered to almost 5K by December 25th. The active user base showed a gradual decrease to 55K but recovered slightly to over 60K in late December.

Downloads started at close to 3K and showed a two-fold increase by the end of December. Weekly active users dropped slightly from approximately 45K to 39K but then rose again to over 43K.

Lastly, Fishdom, also by Playrix, saw its revenue start at around $96K and end the quarter just over $100K. Downloads were variable, with an impressive jump to over 13K in December. The game's active users displayed an upward trend, from about 55K to over 63K by the quarter's end.
